Darko Juranovic 'D'KNOCK' - co-CEO, founder, producer of music label URBANI ZVUK & LIVEINTHEMIX.TV

Former member of the original setup of ET (Electro Team), today a musical producer, songwriter, arranger, executive producer, video scenarist, performer, PR executive and manager of Urban Sound. He is a member of the HDS (Croatian Composers Society) and "International Music Link".

As a producer and author, he cooperated with some of Croatia's biggest music industry names (Nina Badrić, Divas, Tony Cetinski, Cubismo, Bolesna Braca and others) and several strong international projects. He has realized many successful projects with one of the strongest marketing agencies "Unex Group", and stands behind a large number of jingles for established Croatian and international brands.

He is the author of many award winning hits, and a winner of several Porin awards, out of which one award is for the producer of the year for best album in 2004 – Nina's album ''Ljubav'' (''Love''), on which he appears as the chief music producer. At the end of 2004, he began an extremely successful production cooperation with "Apollo Production" (T. Preradovic aka Slow Mo'T), which is still active today, as T. Preradovic became an irreplaceable partner of D'Knock and the Urban Sound label in the creation of numerous music and video projects.

In 2005, under his own Urban Sound label, together with Fresh Jay he began a successful cooperation with the Papaya club, on the Papaya Day&Night festival project, within the framework of producing Papaya Day&Night music compilations.

In the summer of 2008, with Fresh Jay in the framework of their own project – the PlayOne band, in cooperation with the great diva, queen of house music Barbara Tucker works on the song and video "I found a place". The song is released as the theme song of the PAPAYA club and the Papaya Motomusic festival. Along with PlayOne and Barbara Tucker, live appearances were also made at the festival by DJ Tiesto, Freemasons, Tom Novy, Funkerman etc.

In 2009, PlayOne remixed Barbara Tucker's hit single "Superstar" for her new album. PlayOne also made a hit single with Barbara – "Let your Love Shine Through". At the end of 2009, in collaboration with IDM Music, D'Knock and DJ Fresh Jay presented LIVEINTHEMIX.TV - an urban lifestyle television and magazine that promotes all segments of the urban mainstream culture - music, film, fashion, events, world's top radio stations, science, technology, extreme sports, gaming culture, automotive industry etc. The creation, development and maintenance of the program are handled by professionals using the latest technology for video and audio production and live streaming. The concept and design of LIVEINTHEMIX.TV is done by Urban Sound in collaboration with Fly Design New York. The program monitors the Balkan region as well as the world scene.

Through his core company, Urban Sound, D'Knock works with the Otvoreni Radio station and independent web portal indeks.hr, as well as other top Croatian brands. Through cooperation with the Piranha club, the single R&B Angels is created, a project of legendary R&B Confusion evenings.

In 2010, with Slow Mo'T and DJ Kosta Radman, he made an album with remakes of great world hits for Iness, a German singer of Croatian descent. The mentioned album contains a remix of the great hit Physical (Kosta Radman, D'Knock / Slow Mo'T Remix) which appeared on the Club Sounds compilation in 2010, containing a selection of greatest world club scene hits. The compilation contains an impressive list of performers, such as Shakira, Leone Lewis, Britney Spears, Fat Boy Slim, Fragma etc.

In spring of 2010, together with T. Preradovic he produced two songs written by the tragically deceased Macedonian singer Tose Proeski, Balkan's greatest music star. The song "Forever", written by Snjezana Popovic and performed by the Macedonian diva Kaliopi, and the song "It's too late for everything", written by Miroslav Rus and performed by Aki Rahimovski, frontman of Parni Valjak and a legend of the Croatian music scene. The mentioned songs were released on the compilation "I still dream we are together" - Tose Proeski.

Together with his Urban Sound production team, and in cooperation with Inlustro, D'Knock produced a video for the song Guilty by Tose Proeski, teaming up with Fresh Jay and company 5 Group to open a new chapter in Urban Sound's video production.

In the summer of 2010, working with Fresh Jay he completed a remix of Africa, a great hit from the deceased Croatian king of funk Dino Dvornik, continuing with Kosta Radman on a Club Edit of Tony Cetinski's song Reason to Fly. These singles were released on the already legendary Papaya Day&Night compilation of the world famous club destination Papaya.

In the fall of 2010, he worked on the album "Message" for the Macedonian diva Kaliopi, known for her cooperation with Edin Karamazov, a world renowned musician who closely works with Sting. He appears on the album as a supervisor and chief music producer, as well as a co-author of half of the album.

After six years of cooperation and publishing of the megapopular album "Love", he is working on the new album for the big Croatian star Nina Badrić, starting cooperation with a popular Slovenian singer Marko Vozelj, and producing an album of a young Croatian singer Iva Herceg.

He also began a cooperation with the company Makart, and with Marijan Kis (booking manager and executive producer) works on a large project with Club Veneranda from the island Hvar, scheduled for its debut in the summer of 2011.

D'Knock is a versatile person and a visionary whose scope of work stretches over a wide area of creativity. Also he is one of the promoting founders of the Croatian club and hip hop scene. Besides all of this, today he is an influential person in the business and management world and together with D.J. Fresh Jay, owns Urban Sound Entertainment which cooperates with Croatian and international market, holding three professional music studios and one video studio.
